COMM 2083 – Interpersonal Communication

This course surveys theory and research related to interpersonal communication as it explores effective dyadic communication in family, social, and work environments. Considered are such topics as the development of self-concept, perception, emotions, verbal and nonverbal communication, listening strategies, and managing conflict and power in light of biblical and theological teachings.
COMM 2233 – Introduction to Communication

This course is a broad survey of the various forms of mass communication and the industries that have arisen to support them as well as their impact on the culture and democracy. It provides an opportunity to critically examine each of the forms of mass communication that have become an integral part of everyday life.
